VAJEX has inaugurated a memorial Shield which will be presented to each of the Jewish Day Schools in Melbourne. Each school will annually choose two students who have been outstanding in a given field. Their names will be engraved on plaques to be placed on the Shield and each winning student will receive a suitably designed badge to wear. The Schools will retain the Shields and each subsequent year, the names of the winners will be added.
